CLPE accredited courses for teachers are TDA recognised and
part-funded.
CLPE has run successful long accredited courses for teachers for the last 10 years. These courses can play a significant role in your professional development and your teaching career. CLPE will be offers three M-level accredited courses under the Teacher Development Agency-funded course scheme for teachers.

Teachers successfully completing these courses can choose to gain a Post-Graduate Certificate, equivalent to the first year of an MA. These points will be transferable to other higher education institutions. Course members will be encouraged to undertake accreditation. This will include school-based assignments, classroom-based inquiry, critical reading and an essay of 5,000 words. Assignments will contribute towards a portfolio for assessment purposes, which will include the essay. The courses are accredited by Higher Education Institutions at 60 points at Level 4 (M level).  CLPE offers three courses:

Developing the Role of the English Subject Leader  for English Coordinators with at least three years’ teaching experience

Literacy in the New Primary Curriculum – Raising achievement for all for classroom teachers wishing to specialise or develop expertise in this area of the curriculum

Effective Teaching in the Early years for all foundation stage teachers
