Introduction to using ICT to support literacy for teaching
assistants

This practical one day course for
teaching assistants in Key Stage 1 and 2 will give an
introduction to using ICT to support teaching and learning in
literacy. Participants will have an opportunity to explore the
internet, use Word in creative ways as well as making an
electronic book in PowerPoint.

ICT to support mathematics for teaching assistants

This practical one day course for
teaching assistants in Key Stages 1 and 2 will give an
introduction to ways of using ICT to support teaching and
learning in mathematics. Participants will use Word and Excel to
produce resources to take away and use in school, to support
learning and for professional uses such as record-keeping.
