carefully chosen suggestions to encourage children’s

This is an accessible, handbook, written by Myra Barrs and
Sue Ellis of CLPE. It is illustrated in colour and published
by Walker Books. It offers practical information and advice
for parents, and answers common questions that parents ask
about their children’s literacy. Originally written
to accompany the innovative Reading Together series, it has
sold over one million copies world wide.
