CLPE has established a significant and growing role in working with parents, and has developed a range of successful initiatives in this field. In addition to providing Family Learning programmes and working with Sure Start projects, CLPE coordinates all family learning programmes for the London Borough of Southwark. CLPE has a range of publications for parents, including a new set of parents’ booklists.

Saturday Specials!

Two days of arts-based family learning for families living in Southwark
(parents/carers must be accompanied by one or two children aged 7-11 years)
The course includes:

  • planning and designing a fabric banner

  • using fabric dyes and print making

  • completing a finished banner

  • contributing to an exhibition.
