I have a dream…………

That l was back in my Grandma‘s garden
with roses smelling of perfume
when I put my nose to them.
The sweet smell of grass
blowing side ways
towards  me.
The apple tree in the corner
growing silently
pushing its branches in different directions.
A rustling noise, the wind blowing the leaves,
leaves turning colour
the cold wind making the leaves fall.
Birds watching from tree –tops
swooping down pecking at the ground then
returning to their branches.
A water bucket shaped like a bath tub
used for wat
ering plants.
A tap going drip, drop
splashing water as buckets fill,
making the ground below it wet and muddy
spoiling my stylish clothes and shoes.
Horse manure smelling of poo
making the plants grow faster.
Foxes building dens in the night
attracted by shiny objects,
leaving the garden a mess
for my Grandma and me to make
beautiful again.
A sunflower growing tall
a stunning sun set
Peace and quiet around me
away from the sadness
and arguing.

James' trip to oz

The squabbling of the turkeys
in the morning,
with the charging calming waves
in the distance,
with breaching whales
gasping for oxygen in their lungs
before diving deep
into the abyss
