This audiocassette contains an exciting collection of James Berry's poems and rhymes for children which have been specially selected for classrooms. They range from lyrical pictures of Caribbean childhood to songs, modern rap-inspired poems and poems with humorous themes. The poems will benefit from being replayed and studied in classrooms but are also immediately available to young listeners.
This cassette presents children with a unique opportunity to hear James Berry's poems read in his own voice. Also involved I the readings is Jan Blake, while the flute-playing of Keith Waithe provides a musical background.
